Our Owners: Christine Van Tatenhove & Cooper Van Tatenhove

Chris Van Tatenhove grew up in the mountains of eastern Kentucky. She attended law school at the University of Kentucky, and later settled in Lexington to build a successful career centered on public service and practicing law. After long conversations with her son, Cooper Van Tatenhove, they decided to make Junkluggers their next chapter. Their goal was to find a family business opportunity that allowed them to not only do well, but do good. The emphasis on community engagement and the focus on sustainability is what drew Chris and Cooper to The Junkluggers.
